Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
MusclePal is designed with privacy in mind. The app:

- Does not collect personal data
- Does not track your location
- Does not access your contacts, photos, or other personal information
- Does not use analytics or tracking services
- Does not contain advertisements
- Does not share any data with third parties
Data Stored Locally
MusclePal stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your workout sets (exercise name, weight, reps, timestamp)
- Your body weight history
- Your water intake for the current day
- User preferences (gender, unit system, water goal)
- Custom exercises you create
This data is stored using iOS's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server or third party. Your data stays on your device and under your control.
HealthKit Integration
MusclePal integrates with Apple HealthKit to read the following data:
- Step count (to display your daily steps)
- Active energy burned (to display calories from steps)
This HealthKit data is read with your explicit permission and is only displayed within the app. It is not stored, transmitted, or shared with any third parties. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Third-Party Services
MusclePal does not use any third-party services, analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising networks. The app operates entirely offline and does not make any network requests.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all app data at any time by:
- Deleting the app from your device
- Using the "Clear All Data" option in the app settings (if available)
Children's Privacy
MusclePal does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is suitable for users of all ages.
