Before a meeting starts, Dictaphone asks you to confirm that every participant has agreed to recording and cloud AI transcription.

After a consented meeting, timed text returns to the app and anonymous speaker labels are calculated locally on your device.

Save notes and meeting transcripts in one place, then review, export, or delete them whenever you choose.

Eligible everyday dictation uses Apple’s on-device speech technology. For a meeting, you confirm participant consent before recording; when it finishes, encrypted audio is sent to Groq for transcription and temporary audio is deleted after processing.
