The 13:11 schedule is free. Other presets, OMAD, and custom goals require Fasting Premium. Use Restore Purchases on the premium screen after reinstalling or changing devices.
Open Settings → Religious fasting days and choose the calendar you want. Calendars are off by default; the home screen shows your selected calendar and its status.
Weight access is optional. You can change Fasting's permissions at any time in the Health app or iOS privacy settings.
Confirm notifications are allowed for Fasting in iOS Settings. Then open Fasting Settings to check goal alerts, reminders, and your optional Ekadashi calendar. Its date-check and start alerts are scheduled when you enable it.
OMAD means One Meal a Day. Fasting explains the 23-hour schedule before it can start and offers a gentler preset if it is not right for you.
Open Settings → Religious fasting days, choose Ekadashi, and adjust the next date when your local tradition or calendar differs. You can enable a day-before review reminder and a start alert.
Open Settings → Data deletion → Delete all my data. After two confirmations, Fasting removes associated synced data from the server and clears local app data and credentials.
No. Fasting is a general-wellness app. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before fasting if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of disordered eating.
Email us with the app version, iOS version, and a brief description of what happened. Do not send health details or your recovery code.
