1. About these terms
These product terms govern your use of Vedic Horoscope Pro and its product pages. The app is provided by Amzu Information Technology Ltd (company number 08516330, “Amzu”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept them for that organisation.
2. Apple's Standard EULA and your right to use the app
Vedic Horoscope Pro is licensed, not sold. Unless its App Store listing expressly provides a custom licence, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”) governs the app licence. These product terms supplement and do not replace the Standard EULA. If they conflict on the app licence, the Standard EULA controls, subject always to mandatory law.
Under that licence, you may use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules. You may not copy, rent, lease, sell, distribute, reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the app except where the Standard EULA, third-party licence terms, or applicable law permits it.
3. What the app provides
Vedic Horoscope Pro provides natal and divisional charts, planetary positions, Vimshottari dasha periods, yoga analysis, Ashtakavarga, Panchanga, current transits, and user-initiated report exports. The interface is available in English, Hindi, and Tamil. Feature availability and presentation may vary by app version and macOS version.
4. Your information and backups
The app stores saved people and preferences locally on your Mac. Date Panchanga can use a one-time approximate location only after you grant permission; a bundled city remains available without that permission. You are responsible for checking the details you enter, keeping suitable backups, protecting access to your Mac, and securely handling any report, image, or backup you export. 5. Price, payment, and refunds
Vedic Horoscope Pro is intended for distribution as a one-time Mac App Store purchase. Apple controls the final local price, taxes, payment processing, storefront availability, purchase history, and refund process. The public listing is not yet live. Any price shown by Amzu before release is indicative; Apple's purchase sheet controls at checkout. Nothing in these terms limits a refund, cancellation, or other mandatory consumer right available to you.
6. Astrology and professional advice
The app provides traditional astrological calculations and interpretations for personal, educational, and entertainment purposes. Astrology is interpretive. Results are not guarantees and are not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not delay or disregard qualified advice because of information shown by the app.
7. Accuracy and availability
Calculations, translations, interpretations, time zone records, place records, and exports can contain errors or omissions. You must verify important dates, times, locations, and results before relying on or sharing them. We may maintain, correct, improve, change, or discontinue features where permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or compatible with every future macOS release.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the app to violate privacy, intellectual property, or other rights; distribute malware; interfere with the app or App Store; misrepresent an interpretation as professional advice; or use the app in a way that is unlawful or could cause harm. You are responsible for obtaining permission before entering, storing, exporting, or sharing another person's birth details.
9. Intellectual property and third-party material
The app's branding, interface, original text, and documentation belong to Amzu or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Planetary calculations and place data include third-party software and data made available under their respective licence terms, including the MIT-licensed Astronomy Engine and GeoNames data under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Those licensors retain their rights in their material. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
10. Maintenance, support, warranty, and claims
Amzu, not Apple, is responsible for maintaining and supporting Vedic Horoscope Pro to the extent required by applicable law and the Standard EULA. Contact us through the support form.
The Standard EULA explains Apple's warranty and refund role. To the extent a warranty exists and the app fails to conform, you may notify Apple for any remedy Apple provides under that EULA; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Amzu, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims about the app, including product-liability, legal or regulatory conformity, consumer protection, privacy, and intellectual-property claims, subject to the Standard EULA and applicable law.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss arising from inaccurate input, unverified interpretations, or your failure to protect or back up local data.
If you use the app as a business, our total liability arising out of or connected with it is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid for the app. If you use it as a consumer, this clause does not limit the remedies available when digital content is not supplied with reasonable care and skill, is not as described, or otherwise fails to meet mandatory consumer protections.
12. Legal compliance and Apple's role
You must use the app in compliance with the laws that apply to you, including applicable export-control and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a United States Government embargo and are not listed on a United States Government prohibited or restricted-party list, except where law does not permit that representation to be required.
Apple is not a party to these supplemental product terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the app licence and, after you accept it, may enforce the licence against you as a third-party beneficiary to the extent the Standard EULA provides.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections in the country where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available under those protections. Before starting formal proceedings, use our support form so we can try to resolve the issue.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app, our practices, or the law changes. We will post the revised terms and effective date here. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
