VEDIC HOROSCOPE PRO / SUPPORT

Here to help
you keep exploring.

Start with chart details, understand the optional location request, manage local files, or send us a question about the Mac app.

Create an accurate chart

Enter the birth date, exact time, place, and time zone, then choose the ayanamsa and node preference you intend to use.

Choose a Panchanga location

Use a bundled city, the selected person’s birthplace, or grant one-time approximate location access. The permission is optional.

Back up saved people

Create a local JSON backup to a destination you choose. Restore reads only the backup file you select through macOS.

Export or print a report

Open the report preview, review the result, then save a PDF, print, or export a chart image using standard macOS controls.

Privacy checklist

  1. Ask permission before storing or sharing another person's birth details.
  2. Use a bundled city if you do not want to grant current-location access.
  3. Review the destination before saving a report, image, or people backup.
  4. Delete local people and exported files you no longer need.

Common questions

What does Vedic Horoscope Pro require?

Vedic Horoscope Pro is a native Mac app for macOS 14 or later. It does not require an account or an internet connection for chart calculations, place search, or saved people.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Only the Date Panchanga view can ask for a one-time approximate location after you choose My Location. The coordinates are used in memory to calculate Panchanga, sunrise, sunset, and planetary positions for the selected date and time. They are not transmitted or saved by the app. You can choose a bundled city or the selected person’s birthplace instead.

Where are saved people stored?

Saved people and app preferences are stored locally inside the app’s macOS sandbox. The app has no cloud account, analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. Use the app’s delete control to remove an individual person.

How do I back up or move my data?

Use the user-initiated people backup to save a JSON file to a location you choose, then use restore to read a selected backup. PDF reports and chart images are also written only to destinations you select. Protect those files as you would any document containing birth details.

Can I change language or chart style?

Yes. The interface supports English, Hindi, and Tamil. Chart views support North Indian, South Indian, and Kerala styles, and your display choices are stored locally on the Mac.

What should I do if a result looks wrong?

First check the birth date, exact time, place, time zone, ayanamsa, and node preference. Astrology is interpretive, and calculations, source place records, translations, and report output can contain errors. Verify anything important independently before relying on or sharing it.

How will purchases and refunds work?

Vedic Horoscope Pro is planned as a one-time Mac App Store purchase. Apple controls final storefront pricing, payment, purchase history, and refunds. The public listing is not live yet; this page will link to it after release.
